How do you deal with disappointment? When Pharoah placed heavy burdens on the Israelites, the leaders of the people sought relief from their burdens from Pharoah, and found none. In their frustration they then turned to Moses and Aaron, blaming the brothers for their increased suffering. When it seemed to Moses like he had failed in his calling, the only thing left for him to do was to turn to God in the midst of his disappointment. This week we begin reading Exodus 6 and see God's response to the increased suffering of His people. We'll study how Moses did the right thing in bringing his troubles and disappointments to God, and read how God responded to Moses's doubts. And together we'll learn how the God who saved Israel from bondage is the same God who saves us today.
