Here at Hosanna, one of our core values is service because we believe that when everyone serves, then everyone's needs can be met. In 1 Peter 4:10, the apostle Peter teaches that God has gifted each of us with gifts according to His good grace and that as good stewards of that grace, we ought to use our gifts to serve one another. Whether you're available on a regular basis or help set up for special events, there is a place at Hosanna where you can start serving today!

Some of our volunteer positions are available to new members, such as annual special events and our Halloween maze. Most of the volunteer positions, however, do require that you have been a member of Hosanna for at least 6 months. In addition, most volunteer opportunities require you to fill out an application and some volunteer positions require a background check and additional training. Email us anytime with questions about eligibility for specific ministries.
Be a watchful eye outside of our children's church buildings, our main entrances/exits, and in our church foyer. If you have law enforcement or armed services background, this is for you! If not, we'll still give you all training needed to keep our congregation safe.
Help with setup, teardown, or execution of annual events such as community outreach giveaways and decorating the church for Christmas.
Join our worship team as a vocalist or a musician! The team practices weekly and serves every Sunday.
This team has sound, media, and video volunteers. We'll let you observe each role and train you in the one you choose.
Help with the newborns until they turn 2 so parents can attend service. You'll feed them, play with them, and change diapers. Background check and additional training required.
Help with our toddlers as they play each Sunday and learn to interact with other kids while their parents attend service. Background check and additional training required.
Lead one of our classes for ages 4 to 6th grade. You'll teach a Bible lesson, help with a craft, and be a safe place for kids as they build their own relationship with Jesus. Background check and additional training required.
Help our middle schoolers and high schoolers solidify their relationship with Jesus as a youth counselor. You'll lead small group discussions and show them what godly living looks like as you build mentor relationships with them. Background check and additional training required.
Come in during the week and help clean and maintain facilities.
Make everyone feel welcome as they enter our church building and be ready to answer questions about our service and ministries.
Begin exercising your gifts of shepherding and teaching in men's and women's ministries as a teacher or small group leader.
Open our coffee shop before and after services and help serve coffee, muffins, and bagels.
Sign up to be a helper as needed in a variety of ways. Choose how you want to help: mean train, moving large items, home repair, yard work, etc. Background check required.
Be a builder or an actor in our annual Halloween outreach maze and midsummer scream outreach.
Meet every week before service for prayer and be part of the prayer chain for prayer needs throughout the week.
Lead a community group with a focus of your choice: worship, bible study, or prayer. Groups can be centered around hobbies, life stages, gender, or be open to all.
Take photos at events, services, and community groups for use on our website, email list, and social media.
Give a tour to people visiting our church for the first time or work at the visitor's booth to welcome visitors, tell them about our ministries, and give them a gift.
Help pass food donations out to congregation members and our community on Sundays after church.
